Build your future
is a 1-week international online educational program for high school and college students, and young professionals aged 16-24 from Russia and other countries.

The main purpose of the School is to form an international community of young professionals that would have skills and knowledge to carry out global projects.

The 2022 School will focus on medicine and space thematic tracks. Students will analyze and formulate global challenges and ways of tackling them, get hands-on experience outlining technical and research projects in the selected fields as well as improve their hard and soft skills necessary for mastering future global careers. Seasoned professionals will guide all the activities during the School.

This School has been made possible through a grant from The Federal Agency for Youth Affairs “Rosmolodyozh”.

 Key educational formats:

  • “Build your future” will be structured as a 1-week interdisciplinary intensive course. 
    All meetings and lectures will take around 4 hours a day (2 pm - 4 pm GMT +3), there will also be 2 all-day sessions during the weekend. 

    The key School’s formats are strategic sessions, project labs, workshops and lectures with mentors and experts from medical and space fields. Students will also have informal online meetings. Participants will be divided in 2 tracks - medicine and space, several teams for each track.

    The program will build universal skills for both tracks, as well as specific knowledge and competence required in medicine or space technologies

  • Strategic sessions:
    discussions of key global issues in space and medicine and various approaches to tackle them nationally and regionally:
    • Autonomous space systems and space robotics: prospects and challenges for space exploration
    • Precision medicine and oncology: cutting-edge methodologies in diagnostics of cancer
  • Lectures and workshops:
    In both educational tracks established professionals from different countries will share their expertise and knowledge to inspire young professionals and offer real-life cases and solutions for global issues
  • Hard-skills labs:
    every student will have an opportunity to have hands-on experience working with modern technologies and instruments in space technologies and medical research:
    • Space: technical project on programming and control of autonomous systems simulating a mission in space.
    • Medicine: research project on finding new ways of diagnostics of cancer for applying new therapeutic strategies
  • Hands-on projects:
    every team will work on its own initiative that could solve one of the global issues; each project will finish with a presentation in front of the expert panel
  • Discussion clubs:
    students will be able to share their own experience and vision how to solve selected global issues in medicine and space, network and build long-term partnerships with mentors and other students
  • Final session:
    The final stage of online school is project defense for each team held in front of the expert panel
